It was nice to walk around to look for koalas. It would be better if they have more koalas. We didn't see many of them.

Had a lovely time at the conservation centre, and saw 10 koalas (9 female, 1 male) via the Koala boardwalk and the Woodland boardwalk. Many were asleep in the treetops but we were quite fortunate to observe two in action. One came right down and began climbing on the railing of the boardwalk directly in front of us. I felt more comfortable viewing the koalas in this environment, as it is evident that the centre is in place to conserve and protect these animals. One of the female koalas was missing an eye and the staff informed us that her name is Nemo, and it was a necessary procedure to save her from a bad case of chlamydia. She gave us a great demonstration, walking along the constructed branchways that the centre has installed, before settling into a eucalyptus tree for a meal.

Great afternoon stroll. Lots of sleepy koalas and a few wallabies. Why is there no publicity about the great cafe and its yummy lemon meringue pies? The vanilla slice was pretty good too. Who was that funny man holding a spoon in front of his nose?

A good place to see lovely some Koalas. Be aware though that Koalas sleep 20hrs a day and when I went there almost all of them were sleeping! Still so cute!

Would love some more info on the name and story of the other koala who came down from the trees to say hi, we believe it was the male koala in the woodland boardwalk.
